The Tivusat platform is undergoing some changes, recently the cards have changed to a new encyption, so are no longer compatible with the older versions. All Tivusat is (almost) all HD now, matching France (2016) and Germany (2020) with all HD output. A new EPG electronic programme guide is being implemented ( Tivusat’s own model ) , which is different to the old DVB standard epg, as used by German channels. There are several updates of software for various models planned for Easter 2021.
If you have any difficulty with the EPG working, it should be checked on the RAI Premium channel, which is where the data for the EPG system is received. No signal or low signal on RAI premium is a possible cause of this problem.

The Tivusat card is inserted in the side slot ( just visible to the right in the picture ) note: only for the NEW standard Tivu cards.
Good to see they have retained the on/off and channel buttons, on the box, so many new receivers have no manual buttons these days.
In tests, the Q20 performed well, a 65cm dish gave more than adequate signal is all regions of the UK for reception of all the Italian channels.
The Q20 and Q30 represent excellent value for the Italian Tivu platform, coming in considerably under the usual price of these receivers, especially the Q20.
