This gives a fantastic range of major channels and is a one time payment not a subscription. Sept 4 2015: Aragon TV is back ! September 2015 saw the return of the popular regional channel to the free Spanish tv bouquet of channels Feb 20 2015: Andalucia the regional programme which disappeared at the end of 2014, is back on air. The new frequency to tune to is 11155 s/r 22000 There are only a few free Spanish channels and there has been a lot of movement in frequency and satellite over the last few years. Most of the interesting channels are no longer found on Hispasat, but on Astra 1. There has also been problems caused by the financial crash, with Telemadrid ceasing all transmission for many months with a strike. TVE too has been told by the government to make huge cuts in their budget. Still there are plans to go into the South American market and a recent addition to the Astra satellite of TVE international and Canal 24 the news channel, which was previously to be found on the Hotbird satellite. |
