Two separate satellites provide the Turkish channels. Reception of either
satellite is straightforward, but reception of both together is quite
difficult as there is a wide angle between them and the signal from Eutelsat
( DigiTurk) is weak. Because of the cost of the larger (90cm) MULTI dish
, I have included two options for receiving both Turkish satellites, see
package 2 and 3, below, where package2 is just Turkey and package3 is
Turkey + other satellites eg. Uk freesat channels or French, Spanish,German,Poland,
Balkan countries, Middle East countries or Italian channels, the list
of possible countries is huge from this very capable dish. email

In the last few months the receiver for the new subscription service
DSmart has become available, broadcasting from Turksat a good array of
Turkish programmes and very good yearly renewal fees, the Dsmart package
consists of a stand alone set top box and card ( no other receiver will
work with DSmart ). The channel line up is shown below and is different
to the more established DigiTurk, but much better in Turkish content and
price.
Another option exists with the Turksat ( package 1a) free channels; the
satellite position is near enough to the Russian package Russia 1b, or
the Greek ( Hellas2) , or our own FreeSat Uk, for any of these to be combined
on one dish with Turkey.email
