May I use NOS Card in any other receiver than these suplpied by NOS?
I have to advise against this, it may be possible, but I have come across cards rendered unreadable after attempted use in the wrong box, Sky Italia in particular, but all cards would be vulnerable to this. Most modern cards will now only work in their own box, recently Canal Digitaal(Netherlands) and NC+ (Poland) introduced new cards with protocols that preclude previously working non-official boxes from updating the card each month.
I’ve been paying for TV license ever since I came to the UK. I wasnt watching British TV or watching any brocast or stream live, which means BBC was stealing money from me.
By having a NOS box, do I have to still get my money stolen by BBC? note that I’m already rightfully paying NOS.
The European countries including UK have a reciprocal agreement regarding the broadcast of live programming. If you pay the TV license you are covered, this applies even if you never watch any UK channels. Please see the TV licensing website for full details
