Watch Bulgarian Satellite TV in the UK
There are some Free channel options and some paid subscription options
Bulsatcom and Vivacom are the 2 available subscription services from Bulgaria. They present a full package of entertainment, sport, documentaries, film and Normal Bulgarian main channels.
The Bulsatcom offer is purpose built Official receiver with matching card. The Vivacom, which covers the same channels is available as a cam and card, so would be more suitable on a motorised installation or multi satellite installation with a cam-equipped receiver is used like the Technomate 5402HD.
Note that most of the English content eg American and English film for instance have the original soundtrack available which can be switched with the Audio button.
Reception of either is possible in all parts of the UK, signals are strong.
Bulgaria
The Bulsatcom signal on Hellas sat 2 is ok using a Single lnb, 80cm coated steel dish from Triax or Technomate
Which receiver will I get for the Bulsatcom channels:
The official ZHD box and card.
Bulgaria Vivacom
The Bulgarian signal on Eutelsat 33 at 33°east, is ok using a Single lnb, 80cm coated steel dish from Triax or Technomate
Which receiver will I get for the Vivacom channels:
The official cam and card. Will work in the Technisat receiver with a fixed dish.
If you opt for a motorised dish, it is easier to set up in a Technomate receiver
Bulsatcom and Vivacom broadcast the same channels
For Motorised systems – choose Vivacom. The satellite is quite far east ( very low elevation) so do make sure to send in your map coordinates so I can check that reception is possible
Bulgaria free Channels
package #1

The Bulgaria Package 1 (free channels) is from the Hellas2 satellite, which is good signal strength but at 39 degrees east , is quite low in the sky, only 19 degrees above the horizon in the Uk, compared with nearly 30 degrees for the Thor satellite which is due south and very easy to intall for
Which receiver will I get for the free channels:
The versatile Amiko HD mini or MIRA x model
Bulgaria free Channels
package #2
The Bulgarian signal on Hellas sat 2 can be combined on a single dish with Eutelsat 33.
Which receiver will I get for the free channels:
The new Octagon with auto set up ….
Or the latest 4k receiver also from Octagon
Both are multi-stream satellite standard
If you want to combine Bulgarian channels package with channels from another satellite, eg English Freesat , French or German, you can choose a motorised dish or a multi satellite dish . The Thomson Skylink and the Amiko HD are both capable of multi-satellite tuning.
Motorised 1m dish can receive any satellite from 30 degrees west to 42 east, in most places.
Multi satellite Wide angle dish with up to 4 or 5 satellites on a Toroidal dish with 40 degree spread
Multi sat ( up to 4 or 5 satellites ) on a standard Parabolic dish – 20 degree spread

Hi Derek,
I’ve emailed you the best option I have – Polish canal+
Hi,
I’m looking for a satellite system that offers Premier League football including 3pm kick offs and Champions league, kids channels and movies if possible, ideally in English language for kids and movies and it doesn’t matter too much if the football is in a foreign language.
Thanks again
I think the best available would be canal+ from Poland. They broadcast lots of sport many EPL matches plus Euro leagues . You can look at their football schedule neatly auto-translated by the Chrome browser. If this is of interest, For a quote , please fill in the quote form :
