Skylink is easily the best value, with a package of 32 channels from Hungary. Equipment is easy to supply and customers can manage their own subscriptions, once set up. Subscriptions are below £2 month

UPC

UPC has 3 packages but they are not easy to source in the UK, I can get the Med and Top packages but the price is very high Med is over 880 Euro/year

Antik

Antik a major Czech and Slovak broadcaster has a package of 26 Hungarian channels available over the internet with special box ( iptv )

VERY IMPORTANT:

When considering an IPTV service, it is essential that you make speed tests at different times throughout the day first, before you purchase.

Antik recommend a minimum 5mbs bandwidth

IPTV is totally dependent on the speed of data transfer, if this drops below the minimum level required for smooth video , then you will experience picture ‘freeze’.

Also do not rely on your internet providers figures, as these are maximum rates, without contention ( ie when you are the only user ) in reality the rate drops significantly during the period 4pm onwards, when the younger users are at home. Use any of the internet speed testing services available online and easily found using Google for example http://www.broadbandspeedchecker.co.uk/ and test it when you usually watch tv , say between 5pm to 11pm.

IPTV distributors will not refund subscriptions, once activated, for this reason, its essential to test the speed properly. The box has a 12 month guarantee and will be exchanged if faulty.

If you want to combine Hungarian UPC or Free channels package with channels from another satellite, eg English Freesat , French or German, you can choose a motorised dish or a multi satellite dish . The Thomson and the Amiko HD are both capable of multi-satellite tuning.
