Introduction to the Platforma General 9300HD receiver and system. 20 dv channels ( standard definition ) and 10 HD channels. Only available with its own receiver and card. Cards are no longer available separately. Depending on the supplier, a Card and Cam may now be available, I recommend a Technomate HD receiver to use with the CAM.

	Truly the UGLIEST BOX EVER! Box design 1/10 Applying power for the first time, the blue display reads 'boot' and then will default to language selection ( just as well for us non russian installers ! )
	The card flap also reveals a CI slot for CAM use and a USB socket for software download
	Remember Contacts UPWARDS. The card details will only appear in the Smart card menu if its the right way up. The Platforma box is the only available way to see the DRE encrypted Russian channels
	The remote control is well laid out and seems quite well made. Certainly no problem with picture and sound quality 10/10
	The major functions are on the coloured keys and the row beneath. All menu navigation buttons are silver

When ordering the Platforma system, you can choose to have some of the other nearby satellites , which also carry Russian channels, Hotbird and Sirius ( renamed Astra4 )
